I was told by them that my package was lost and received a refund from the store. I had been in communication with Lasership the week of 9/25. That might prevent AliExpress from combining the orders and shipping them together as one package.“A package that showed an expected delivery date to my home of 9/20/23 arrived at the Romulus, MI facility (15 minutes from my house) on 9/20 at 2:00am. The next time I order items from more than one shop, perhaps I should place each order two days after the order that preceded it. I guarantee the cost of sending all five of those orders together was less than what I paid to ship each order separately. (Thankfully I received everything on the date they said I would).ĪliExpress didn't give me any refund on the shipping. But then AliExpress combined those orders into one, and sent them together in one package - totally defeating my plan. It's because of stories like yours I won't place orders more than $20 per shop.Īlthough I learned something in January: I placed orders with five different shops on January 8 and completed each order separately. I'm so sorry, though, you still haven't received yours. I tried to find the tracking number so I could check the date I received it, but I don't have it and AliExpress doesn't put the tracking numbers in the order's history.īut to the best of my recollection, I think it arrived just a couple of days after I posted my comment. I'm going to keep my □ in the hope I do receive my order. portion of our shipments, I wish there was a way we could tell companies like AliExpress, Shein, etc., if we don't want a certain shipper used. Since we can't choose the shipper we want for the U.S. Reviews of Pitney Bowes shipping mention the very same issues as what I've read here and elsewhere pertaining to ACI Logistix/USPS shipping. The orders shipped using Pitney Bowes/USPS arrive several days after their expected delivery date. I typically receive my Shein orders shipped using UPS, UPS Surepost, LaserShip, or USPS several days before their expected delivery date. I order a lot of nail art supplies from Shein, and they typically use either UPS, UPS Surepost, LaserShip, USPS, or Pitney Bowes/USPS. Honestly, I'd be happy to pay a bit more than I did if AliExpress standard shipping partnered with a more reliable shipper (USPS, UPS, FedEx, LaserShip) for the shipping from the point of entry in the U.S. I had no idea which shipper has a facility in Carteret, so I asked Google - which led me to this post.įTR, I'd never heard of ACI Logistix before today. Says it's at a shipping partner facility in Carteret, NJ. The delivery was supposed to be by Dec.18th. So, when I placed an order in the 3rd week of November, that's the shipping option I chose. Then I did some research (here on Reddit) and learned about the various shipping methods, and it seemed that AliExpress Standard Shipping with tracking is the best one to use, even though it costs more. I received that order in the time I was told it would take. The first order I just accepted the default shipping option because I was new to AE and didn't know there are other choices. I've only made two orders with AliExpress - both under $20.00. I realize this is an older post but I just want to add my 2¢. I do wish I had more helpful information and apologize again this process did not meet with your expectation. If the parcel cannot be delivered it will be returned to the merchant, kind of like a letter being “returned to sender”. There could be a variety of reasons for that (damage, unreadable or unscannable label, COVID or weather delays, internal re-routing, etc.) but it would make sense that the USPS may tell you they have no record of this parcel if tracking information shows no subsequent scan events after the departure scan. The missing subsequent USPS scan events tells me the parcel has yet to be processed by them. These depart in secured containers, with the USPS verifying upon receipt and additional processing. The last scan (“departure scan”) occurs once the parcel is placed into an outbound shipping container en route to the USPS (at the nearest post office servicing your home), which normally arrives there the next day, sometimes longer if farther away from the hub. I do not see any scan events from the USPS indicating they have not yet processed the parcel. The next step would be the USPS to scan, sort, load, and deliver the parcel. We normally see delivery to local post offices in 2-3 days with home delivery occurring shortly thereafter. The last scan event shown is a "departure" event, telling us it left our JFK hub. Like many transportation companies, we use scan events to indicate location and status. Posting it here mostly for search purposes - so other folks can find this when the same inevitably happens to them: Got the same copied and pasted response from ACI that I’ve been getting each time a package goes missing between them and USPS.
